Jesus Christ Superstar – CCC

The musical Jesus Christ Superstar, written by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber, directed by and featuring the Carolina Civic Center Historic Theater’s resident artist Kendrix Singletary will surely become legendary.  The is told entirely through song and loosely based on the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, Jesus Christ Superstar follows the last week of Jesus Christ’s life, as seen through the eyes of Judas Iscariot.  Familiar songs include Superstar, I Don’t Know How to Love Him and Gethsemane.
