It’s a gathering on the campus of the University of NC at Pembroke.  The festivities are hosted at the English E. Jones Center.  The grand entry is at noon.  Doors open at 10:00am to the public as the university celebrates America’s Indigenous peoples’ rich history and culture.  The powwow features dancing competitions and vendor sales.  Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for elders (60+), ages 7-18 and alumni, under age 6, free.  Student, faculty & staff  – $3.00. Campus ID may be required.
