The Downtown Riverwalk is a short trail along the banks of the Lumber River with beautiful fencing and a viewing platform. One block East is the plaza with a water feature, metal sculpture, alley with paintings and benches for relaxing. Take a photo pretending to be a butterfly. Continue through the alley to view a mural illustrating flora and fauna, daylilies, a blue heron and the Lumber River. Another block away, visit the Robeson County History Museum at 101 South Elm Street.
