8th Annual Honor Jazz Festival – April 23 – 6 P.M.

The UNCP Department of Music is excited to present the annual Honor Jazz Fest on April 23. This year’s guest is the legendary New Orleans jazz trumpeter Leroy Jones, known to music lovers as the “keeper of the flame.” His playing has been described as a blend of Louis Armstrong and bebop virtuoso Clifford Brown. Jones has been a critical figure in the history of New Orleans music. Admission is free.
