Purple Door Productions welcomes audiences back with a Grand Opening Night Gala featuring a catered dinner theatre.
In partnership with creators of some of the most famous Broadway musicals and MTI, ALL TOGETHER NOW is a global concert fundraising event, celebrating the return of live performance and support for community theatres. The concert recreates sequences from the biggest hits of Broadway; including, Frozen, Rent, Les Miserables, Fiddler on The Roof, Newsies and Beauty and the Beast. It will also introduce audiences to some of the newest musicals returning to production in New York… Mary Poppins, Come From Away, Matilda, and Waitress. This high energy cabaret features a large company of performers, ages 9 to adult, showcasing the diverse wonderful talent of Robeson County and our local areas. Audiences will want to join in and sing along with the great hits of High School Musical and Hairspray!
A gala dinner theatre event on Nov.12th will be the ribbon-cutting grand opening for PDP Studio Theatre, 215 E. 4th Street at 7:00pm. Tickets for this gala fundraiser are $50/person or special discount of $275/table (6 people), reserved in advance. Special dessert theatre performances: Nov. 13th (7:00pm) and Nov. 14th(3:00pm), tickets at $20/adults and $15/children. Family matinee show Nov. 13th at 3:00pm, all seats only $10/person. All ticket donations are tax deductible, as allowed.
