Purple Door Productions’ Summer Stage Theatre Workshop culminates with the presentation of Alice in Wonderland, a new comic musical created by North Carolina playwright, Peggy Taphorn. Based on Lewis Carroll’s wonderful novel, this delightful musical will showcase a large group of the county’s talented young performers, ages 8-20

TEA FOR TWO, Sat. matinee (July 30th). Here is a chance for dads to spend time with their own “Alice” for a great daddy/daughter party! Both will share a funny musical and then be treated to a full English style tea with Alice and the fantastic creatures of Wonderland. There will be delightful “tea cakes”, special drinks and ice cream treats. Have your pictures taken with Alice and the cast, as a special keepsake.

VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY TEA, Sun. matinee (July 31st). Celebrate the “Alice’s”; all the wonderful boys and girls who don’t always fit in, who question everything and whose imaginations create larger-than-life worlds! Enjoy the musical, then stay for High English Tea with Alice and the cast of Wonderland; special drinks, desserts, ice cream and your picture taken with Alice and the cast!
