A member institution of the 16-campus University of North Carolina system, this campus serves over 10 counties in the state. Ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the second most diverse campus in the US,UNC P provides a broad liberal arts education which includes 56 majors and nine graduate programs. The university has a professional performing arts series in two concert halls: Givens Performing Arts Center (1700-seat) and the Moore Recital Hall (216-seat). It also houses a Native American Museum which features artifacts and history of Native American Indians.

Robeson Community College
Robeson Community College, chartered by the Legislature in 1965, provides a range of programs leading to either an Associate in Applied Science or Associate in Arts degree. RCC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. RCC is also accredited by the NC Board of Nursing, Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and the Joint Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education, the NC Board of Cosmetic Arts and Redken Laboratories in New York.

The scope of the college ranges from basic education to technical/career programs to college transfer programs. The college, with its day and evening schedule, offers 20 career programs that emphasize five areas: business, industrial technology, health, public service and vocational trades. RCC has forged many relationships with local business and industry to develop the skilled, competent workforce needed to compete in a high-tech global community.
