On the National Register of Historic Places and a member of the League of Historic American Theatres, the Carolina Civic Center is one of downtown Lumberton's most historic landmarks.Built in 1928 as a movie palace, it was saved from destruction by concerned citizens of Robeson County.PLANNING A CLASS REUNION OR OTHER SPECIAL EVENT?
